This winter you can drop by for a tasting anytime between from 12 pm to 8 pm Monday through Thursday, and 10 am – 10:30 pm Friday through Sunday. While you can walk in, with no appointment necessary, please message [email protected] for assistance scheduling larger parties. Sugarlands typically closes early on Christmas eve and is closed on Christmas Day.

A valid photo ID for each participant is required.

 The Moonshine Sampling Flight will have your party standing at an octagon bar while you sample 12 flavors of our shine for $5 per person. The flavors being sampled change daily and our tastemakers will walk you through each of the flavors you sample.

During our $5 tasting we offer a 12-flavor tasting that samples a mix of both Moonshines and Sippin’ Creams.

At the distillery we also offer a separate premium whiskey tasting. Both our $11 single pour Roaming Man Experience and our $22 Roaming Man 3 pour flights are available daily from 12 pm to 6pm. Featuring one of our whiskey experts, they will walk you through nosing and tasting of our award-winning Roaming Man Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey.

Sugarlands’ downtown Gatlinburg Distillery $16 tours when available. Tours run 12pm – 7pm. Unfortunately, our tour availability is currently subject to change on a day-to-day basis. We are offering them when available. However, as the production area at the distillery is getting some exciting new renovations, tour availability and scheduled tours are subject to cancellation with short notice.  Please use our website to book a tour, and then follow up with [email protected] before you travel to the distillery.

Sugarlands Distillery is a family-friendly experience. Kids are welcome to enjoy the Sugarlands distillery; however, you must be 21+ to drink.  Kids can tag along on the tour. There is no charge for kids, as the cost of the tour mainly covers the cocktail.

Sugarlands Distillery is dog-friendly everywhere except for in our stillhouse; however, we do require your pet to be always on a leash.

We do not have onsite parking but there is a garage right behind our building. You can also park for free along the street behind the building. 

We currently have Mark and Digger coming to distill on the first Wednesday of the month through December. From noon to 2pm. On these days’ distillery visitors can watch these moonshiners work through our viewing glass. If the moonshiners get some downtime while mashing, they may pop out of the still house to sign a few jars or take a photo or two. Please note that, their schedules are subject to change. There is not an expiration date on our moonshines. If sealed, there is no expiration date on our Sippin’ Creams. After opening, we do recommend they be refrigerated and consumed within six months.

Moonshine, Sippin’ Creams, and High Rock Vodka are available in 750ml bottles and jars. Roaming Man is available in 375ml bottles and 750ml bottles. A select few flavors of moonshine and Sippin’ creams are also available in 50ml jars, but are subject to availability.

As it is illegal for us to ship spirits directly to consumers, Sugarlands Distilling Co. has partnered with Bottle Nexus to offer a click-to-purchase option conveniently placed on our website. Please note, these orders are processed and fulfilled by a licensed third-party that may take several weeks to ship through one of several retailers/liquor stores on the Bottle Nexus network who have product availability. Any questions or issues about the order must be directed to that third party. 

Bottle Nexus can provide spirit products delivered directly to homes in all states except MI, SD, TN, UT.
