Fans in Connecticut will also be able to purchase Jim Tom Hedrick’s Unaged Rye, along with—Old Fashioned Lemonade, Mark Rogers’ American Peach, Silver Cloud Tennessee Sour Mash, and Southern Sweet Tea.
“We are excited to introduce our award-winning moonshine to the people of Michigan and Connecticut,” said expansion director Roy Kibling. “We think our friends up North are really going to enjoy the most unique and storied spirit the South has to offer.”
Sugarlands Distilling Company uses an artisanal stone mill to grind Tennessee white corn into meal. The meal is mixed with natural Smoky Mountain water and pure cane sugar to create a sour mash. Each batch of shine is distilled a total of six times to remove all sulfites and vapor— ensuring a high-quality flavor.
Sugarlands Distilling Company currently offers nine different varieties of award-winning moonshine. The company has collaborated with celebrity moonshiners Jim Tom Hedrick, Mark Rogers, and Steven Ray Tickle to create the Legend Series line of moonshine flavors.
